church & gargoyles
'Brother, this Church doth open stand for thee,
That thou may'st enter, sit, rest, think and pray,
Remember whence thou art,
And what shall be Thy end
Remember us, then go Thy way'
- a framed message in the entrance of this church

for my love
"I shall take the heart," returned the Tin Woodman;
"for brains do not make one happy,
and happiness is the best thing in the world."

horses for your enjoyment
because the carousel reminds me of a carnival,
but also of The Catcher in the Rye...
"Then the carousel started,
and I watched her go round and round..."

the blustery day
'I don't mind the leaves that are leaving.
It's the leaves that are coming.' - Piglet
'Now the very blustery night turned into
a very rainy night.
a very rainy night.
And Pooh kept his lonely vigil,
hour after hour, after hour -
until at last, Pooh fell fast asleep -
and began to dream...'
- Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day

raindrops
it's been raining today.
did some claywork this morning,
and when i got home,
it was spritzing just light enough that
it was nice.
so i went outside
and had some fun shooting stuff.
i think i have a small addiction.
i've got soo many more,
which makes it hard
to choose.
